My Lunch their Dinner! {Grilled Zesty Italian Chicken w/Baked Sweet Potato}

Happy Wednesday!

Today for Linner {Lunch + Dinner} I cooked one of my favorite easy meals.

Grilled Zesty Italian Chicken Breast + grilled onions with Baked Sweet Potato

Here's how I made it + what I used...

Boneless Chicken Breast

Zesty Italian Salad Dressing

Sliced Whole Onion

Small Sweet Potato 

Griddle

First I seasoned my chicken using Season-All, onion and garlic powder.  

Then I covered the chicken breast with the Zesty Italian Dressing.  

I then sliced my onions and cover them with the Zesty Italian Dressing.

I then placed all of the items on the griddle and cooked until golden brown.

The sweet potato was backed on 350 for several hours in my convention oven.

Once finished, I plated my meal by placing the 

chicken breast on the plate first then I covered with onion.

It was delicious!  Try it and let me know what you think.

Our Style {me + my mini}

Yes!!!! Me + my Mini were too cute at Church.  She made her skirt for Easter and I was sooo tired of wearing my traditional Deaconess black and white. 

Sooooo I got up early on Sunday morning and made me this too cute easy high waisted circle skirt with a zipper.

I'm a curvy girl and it's ability to hide my hips, butt and belly is AMAZING!!!

My daughter's circle skirt is sewn onto white elastic {we made an elastic waist band}.

Dressing like twins was so much fun, I can't wait to do it again!

Lunch 'n Learn Couponing 101

Here's my disclaimer...I love to shop! Enough said!!!

So when I was introduced to couponing it was love at first sight.  You mean I can shop and they pay me?!?!  Sign me up!  Well, that was in 2013 when couponing was BIG business.  I used to walk out of walmart with real $$ in my hand not in my cart and it was LEGAL!

I was a professional couponer. I stockpiled my house for the use of my family and selected friends.

our style {Church Flow}

My husband and I often dress alike especially when going to church.  

He has an AMAZING fashion sense and we compliment each others style perfectly.  

We actually get a kick out dressing alike.

Today we are in shades of brown.

My husband accented his 4-button suit by pairing it with a beige herringbone shirt 

w/gold and black cuff-links.  His shoes were two brown and beige 

 and his socks {not shown} were Argyle.  When he sat down and his pant leg teased the eyes with the perfect hidden surprise and completed his look.

I was very comfortable in an A-line dress that was Taupe with a stretchy belt. I coordinated my look with gold Tory Burch accessories {ear rings, bangles and necklace}  My brown peep toe shoes are too cute and VERY painful on the feet.  My itty bitty purse added the finishing touch.

Are your insecurities winning?

It's been forever + 3 days since I have blogged!  So much has happened in my little family.

June 17th our Son graduated for Power School in the US Navy.  

June 18th our Daughter gave birth to Baby Madison

June 19th our Son got married to the girl next door.

{{So when I say life happened...It really did!}}

And I took time off to bask in those mommy moments.  Now it's back to work!

While I was away I was a watcher/spectator online.
I've seen so many people fall off the designing cliff and totally drop out of sight.

Why??? I've reached out to some and I hear the same words over and over..

I can't compete with xyz!!

{{{ NO }} this is not a competition with others! It's a competition with your yesterday.

HuH?  Yes, you are your competition...your insecurities needs to be defeated.

Whether you are a stationery designer, wedding planner, photographer or a mom; your lack of self esteem will keep you thinking that you are not enough.

You are enough! You are great! You are called for the season that you are in!

Stop looking around to see what you visualize success looks.  Thinking what they are doing is successful. What is the real meaning of success?

Invest in your insecurities.  Build up your weak spots. Take the time to pour into those areas that you find to be weak.

As a coach I empower my students by finding out the spot that makes them scared.  I teach from an area where we dive into the area of the unknowing, the dark places that keep them hiding.  You leave me confident to do business on your terms. Not looking at others to spy but to admire their craft as supported successful business women.
